The Charles River Conservancy is dedicated to the stewardship, renewal, and enhancement of the parklands along the urban Charles River. The Conservancy promotes the active use and vitality of the parklands, increases recreational opportunities, and works to ensure the beauty and integrity of this extraordinary public resource.
The Wagner Foundation believes our green spaces are important for public health and part of our shared culture. Communities consist of more than a collection of individuals; they are places and regions, buildings and parks. Improving these physical spaces and structures can transform lives, whether in the form of homes for the economically disadvantaged, temporary shelter for disaster relief, trees in urban areas, or enhanced access to existing green space.
