Bridget Miskell is Wagner Foundation’s Senior Finance and Operations Manager, overseeing many key aspects of the foundation’s operations and administration.
Her responsibilities span finance, facilities, and grants management as well as organizational development and talent/human resources. Before joining the Wagner team, Bridget supported grantmaking strategies and portfolios at The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation and The Klarman Family Foundation. She also directed finance and operations at the Boston Education Fund. With more than fourteen years of experience working for private foundations and in nonprofit fundraising, Bridget brings deep knowledge of the philanthropic sector to her work at Wagner.
A keen problem-solver, Bridget constantly seeks opportunities to improve Wagner’s operational efficiency and productivity, taking great pride in her contributions to building the foundation’s team, office, and organizational systems. Bridget also works closely with the team to develop and clearly communicate Wagner’s unique grantmaking process to grantee partners, helping them feel informed and supported at every stage. She’s enjoyed learning from these partner organizations and building connections with the philanthropic community in Greater Boston and beyond.
A former dancer, Bridget was initially drawn to the nonprofit sector by her passion for the performing arts. By engaging in close collaborations with nonprofits and change advocates through her work at Wagner, she’s strengthened her dedication and passion for philanthropy.
