Ruvimbo Mushavi

Program Officer, International Partnerships

Ruvimbo Mushavi is the Program Officer for International Partnerships at Wagner Foundation, where she supports the foundation’s grantmaking at the intersection of health equity and agricultural livelihoods across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

In this role, she cultivates strategic and collaborative partnerships that seek to address the root causes of systemic challenges in rural communities and contribute to long-term, transformative change.

Prior to joining Wagner Foundation, Ruvimbo served as a communications officer at the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Zimbabwe where she supported the communications and advocacy activities for a program called the Spotlight Initiative to eliminate violence against women and girls. She also completed a yearlong fellowship with Global Health Corps working as a program manager for student-athletes at Grassroots Health in Washington, DC. Ruvimbo holds a Master in Public Policy degree from Harvard Kennedy School where she further developed her interest in international development and public health.

As a native of Zimbabwe, Ruvimbo has a deep understanding of the systemic and structural barriers many countries face in achieving their development goals. Born and raised in Harare, Ruvimbo brings a personal and cross-cutting perspective to her work and a commitment to supporting community-driven change through philanthropy.
